Not even worth 1 star review. I tried to get through to lakeside by making 141 calls. The line is busy and you cant even go through options as they hang up on you. I have been trying to get an appt for 2 weeks now and being told I need to ring in the morning as I cant book in advance. Ridiculous!!
Feeling very unwell Saturday and unable to see my drs came to lakside and was looked after by nurse Rachel and got fabulous service and thorough checks before being diagnosed with tonsilitis. .. she couldn't of been more caring and informative. Old school bedside manner.
Started the phone call with 8 people ahead of me 22 minutes later when I gave up, I still had 7 people ahead of me. How is that possible?... Reading through the reviews, there are a small minority who claim to be able to get quick appointments, one person states "it's the pride of Corby". My reply to those ' happy few,' you're either very lucky, well connected, or politically motivated, I make no assumptions about which.
Spent a week trying to get an appointment taking 30mins a morning sometimes just trying to get into the queuing system. Won't let you book an advanced appointment. Now going to urgent care as I can't get seen. What on earth is going on?? I could get an appointment in London faster!!
Excellent care, wonderful doctors. I have always had a quick response to any problems to my health. Of course it's busy, the surgery is the biggest in the area. The treatment centre has saved the NHS millions of pounds. The people of Corby are proud of this centre.Michael
