Love these woods. I bring my dog here all the time. Quiet, loads of space. It's been made more of a managed place recently with hardcore paths, cycling and better cafe, and car park. My only issue is the cost of car parking. 2 for one hour, but then it jumps to 4 all day. I won't pay that to walk the dog. Can't you have a price for 2 hours? My dog can manage more than an hour but not 2...it might encourage me more and to use the cafe as well.
Finding a good running trail is abit hard, but from what I have seen so far it is a nice place to go around. There are a lot of different bike trails there, not sure how easy they are to follow there.
Beautiful place. So quiet. Free parking and accessible walks for pushchairs etc. Only thing that lets it down are the dog owners that don't clean up after their dog.
30 minutes drive for quick fix. Yea enjoyed it, although the blue route is a bit short! Still worth doing if you're up for a few laps.. Post code takes you to other side of woods A43. Car park entrance not sign posted so easy to miss the farm gate on the right side of the road coming from wakerly towards A43 fine shades..
Really good off road MB route. My 11 year old daughter loved it as did my 13 year old MB terror! Highly recommended. Good place for a picnic too.
