After quite a while looking for the car i wanted, Brooklands found one for me
Bought an Audi A4 B7 Cabriolet 2.0 TDi from here, and Ryan was very helpful, we discussed the cars history and the cam belt came up, I was advised its due at 80,000 miles, with no time frame advised, upon signing the contract to buy the vehicle, the notes stated that the car would be fully serviced and MOT'd, however the MOT was completed but the servicing I was told, was not required. After collecting the car, I took it to an independent garage I know and trust, to which they advised the following:Car has had minor damage to the front previously (As bumper is mis-aligned)The gearbox oil was sludgeThe cam-belt has never been changed & it should be changed every 80k or 5 years. (Seeing as the car is 10 years old now) It should've had at least 1 change, but NO.So after these discoveries for my own piece of mind, I had a full fluids change completed, engine oil, gearbox oil, power steering fluid, brake fluid, as well as a new cam-belt and water pump, with a coolant change.This has cost me 600 on a car I bought less than 1 month ago!!After speaking with Chris, who automatically goes on the defensive the moment you mention the "quality" of Brooklands Quality Cars, I am convinced he couldn't care less, and is unwilling to assist in anyway shape or form. Disgusting customer service from a senior person, which has soured the whole experience, and cast a very big shadow of doubt over my car, which I feel very uneasy driving! NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER, and needless to say I would not recommend this place, nor will I be returning, as I believe the 3 month warranty isn't worth the paper it's written on, and I might as well use it as toilet paper!!!! #DontBuyHereEver
Have bought several cars from here over the years.always found the guys here very helpful,giving honest information about their vehicles,but not pushy like most car sales folkWould definitely buy another vehicle from here.
