Upmarket spoons, cheap n cheerful, got the occasional person talking to themselves though (just dont make eye contact with them and u will be fine) get your elbows and money out at the bar if u wanna get served as its total carnage up there (last time i was at the bar i looked down and someone had stole my shoes, was really embarassed as i had a hole in my socks) get here early if u want a table or u will be standin all night with no shoes on
Usually great but my mash potatoes and veg sausages was great until I found powdered mash that hadn't been mixed properly

Went to the Saxon Crown t for breakfast one morning while visiting my family for the summer holidays, we were served our food by the manager. He handed me a scolding hot plate without warning of it being hot, the plate was so hot my hand has blistered where I had taken a hold of it. When he handed me it I recoiled in pain and swore as a reflex. The manager then had the cheek to "mind my language in front of children" The only children there were my own. How dare you tell me what I can and can't say in front of my children. He then didn't even apologise for burning my hand. The service he provided is disgusting especially since he is the manager. I emailed Wetherspoons with a complaint about it to be told the manager has barred me from the venue and that they would not be dealing with my complaint. Never dealt with such a disgusting company.
The meal I had was disgusting....a skinny chicken burger. Yet another mass produced frozen chicken fillet over cooked and resembling a leather tobacco pouch....and just as dry
