Built as Read's grammar school, the building is now one third public library and two thirds art gallery. It has a busy season, through three quarters of the year, showing the works of visiting and local artists. It gets exhibitors who are never seen at the municipal arts centres of Grantham and Stamford, and is always worth a visit - if only to gaze out of the windows at the countryside around.Recommended
